CHRYSLER BEACH

1660 River Road, Marysville

Chrysler Beach is a popular year-round destination along Marysville’s riverfront.  The beach is a wonderful spot to view waterfowl and shorebirds. There is a large grassy area perfect for picnics. There is also a concession stand along with playground equipment, restrooms and nearby parking. The shoreline park has recently been restored from the Chrysler Beach Park and southward to include a soft shoreline and native plantings that add to the St. Clair River’s draw for many waterfowl species.

Viewing is good year-around but especially in the winter when close viewing is common for species like Goldeneye, Bufflehead, Redhead, and Canvasback ducks, and gulls like Iceland and Great-black backed varieties.
