32995 South River Road, Harrison Township

At the mouth of the Clinton River, this site includes a public boat launch and a DNR research station. The easternmost portion of the access is managed to create a quality coastal habitat, including emergent marsh, sedge meadow and a limestone-cobble shoreline.

This area on Lake St. Clair has large rafts of waterfowl in migration. Scoters, Snowy Owls, Common Redpolls and Snow Buntings may occasionally be found here as well. Rarities include Northern Saw-whet Owl, Long-eared Owls, Mountain Bluebird.
