This park is best for migration and winter viewing of gulls, waterfowl, and various raptors.

Visitors can expect to see gulls, swallows, warblers, vireos, sandpipers, ducks, Common redpolls, Bald eagles, and Horned Larks. Rare sightings include scoters, Long-tailed ducks, and Redhead ducks.
